Questions and answers

The things people ask us most. Don’t see yours? Call us. We are happy to help.

Are you taking new patients?

Yes. Send us a request online or call (269) 381-0564, and Meredith will find a time that works for you.

How soon can I get in for a new patient exam?

Meredith will find the soonest new patient exam that fits your schedule. Give her a call at (269) 381-0564, and if something hurts, let her know so we can work to see you as soon as possible.

Do you take my insurance?

We welcome most dental insurance plans and file the claim for you. Erica, our insurance coordinator, can look at your plan before your visit and tell you what to expect. Call us with your plan details.

How young do you see children?

As soon as the first tooth comes in. Kids are seen in the same office, by the same team, as the rest of the family.

What if I have a dental emergency?

Call us as soon as you can during office hours. We will ask what is going on and work to see you as soon as possible. If you have swelling that affects your breathing or swallowing, go to the emergency room.

I get nervous at the dentist. Can you help?

Yes. We never rush, we explain what we are doing before we do it, and we check in with you as we go. Tell us when you call, and we will plan your visit around keeping you comfortable.

What are your hours?

Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday 8 am to 5 pm, and Friday 8 am to 4 pm. We are closed on Wednesdays and weekends.

Can I book online?

You can send an appointment request online, and we will call you to schedule it. We book by phone so every visit gets the right amount of time.

How can I pay?

Credit and debit cards, CareCredit financing, and HSA, FSA, and MRA cards. We also offer a discount for seniors paying with cash or check. You can pay a balance online any time.

Do you place dental implants?

Dr. Motson restores implants: once a specialist has placed the implant, she restores it with the crown, bridge, or denture that goes on top.
